Description[ | ]

Iron Bars is a strong block in 7 Days to Die. It's great for windows or cages as you can shoot through them. It can be placed at many different angles which makes it versatile in building as well. It is best destroyed with an Auger or Pickaxe.

Prior to forging a Iron Bars, you must first smelt iron and clay in a forge and have an Anvil placed in the appropriate tool slot of the forge.

  • As of A14 you can no longer shoot trough Iron Bars with projectile weapons.
  • As of A13.6 you can no longer craft Iron Bars you have to smelt iron and clay into a Forge and Forge the Iron Bars.
  • Players can shoot through the bars with Weapons
  • Can be used to make walk-ways or to have a lip on the edge of your base to shoot down at Zombies.
  • As of A13 Iron Bars is now forged not crafted.
