Confirmed Upcoming/Planned features[]

Some things are visible in the files or have been teased by the developers on social media, with some of these explicitly stated to be getting rolled out in the next update. (Alpha 20, in this instance.) This is a quick list of some things I've seen.

UPDATE: The official Alpha 20 changelog has been released on the 7 Days to Die website, which will have a far more comprehensive list than anything I can manage right now. It's visible here.

Confirmed for Alpha 20:

  • New models for most Special Infected, including the Burn Victim, Screamer, and Infected Police Officer.
  • Pipe guns. Primitive firearms made out of short iron pipes and can also be found in early gamestages, similarly to the Blunderbuss.
  • Revamped block upgrading path, with wooden frames being done away with and replaced with wood boards which function similarly.
  • 4x4 Truck now holds 4 players

Viewable in the files or otherwise, not so far stated to appear in A20:

  • Pneumonia
  • Junk Baton and Plasma Baton, tier 1 and 3 versions of the Stun Baton, respectively.
  • Several mods: Flammable Oil, Liquid Nitrogen, and NiCd Battery, all of which change the "damage type" of the weapon they're applied to. (Heat, Cold and Electric, respectively.) Radiation Ready mod, applicable to armor that increases radiation resistance, in a similar vein to the Insulated Liner and Cooling Mesh mods, as well as the "You're Fired" mod, which does the same thing, but for fire.
  • "Wounded" debuff
  • Puking, likely caused by eating too much food.
  • Diazepam (Only exists as an effect, not as an item.)
  • Junk Drone (Planned Tier 3 independent turret)
  • Flares
  • Sunblocker

Alpha 19 Updates[]

Added Shrine of A'Koleth, Demon of Hatred for Halloween 2020. This randomly spawned structure forebodes an enormous horde. Hope you're ready!!

Alpha 17 Updates[]

Does anyone want to help get this wiki all set up for A17? Juper0 (talk) 20:06, 11 December 2018 (UTC)

Already on it since the first experimental build, starting with the basics as many values will surely change till stable ViperGeek (talk) 20:21, 11 December 2018 (UTC)
Is anyone working on the main page? Or should I hunt down an admin? Juper0 (talk) 23:22, 12 December 2018 (UTC)
the main page could use a little work, it's rather bland but can't edit itViperGeek (talk) 05:51, 13 December 2018 (UTC)
Would like to update quite a lot concerning materials and items, but I don't know really how many people are working on some specific things, nor what are the guidelines. I have a few ideas on how to go with this, but wouldn't want to step into someone's work in progress. KhulKhuum (talk) 16:07, 02 February 2019 (UTC)
If anyone wants to coordinate working on the wiki, We can set up a group to start doing it. Definitely needs a lot more active admins, contributors, etc.--Chemicalsocialist (talk) 22:05, 20 March 2019 (UTC)

Tag pages with outdated information?[]

My group has been playing 7 Days for almost two weeks and have been distressed at the state of this Wiki. It seems that most of the pages contain legacy or outdated information and is not very usefully for a play through of Alpha 17.2. For example, I had to completely redo the Food table because the one on the wiki is not up to date and has a confusing mix of Alpha 17 and pre-Alpha 17 stats. But what is most frustrating is that we get directed to certain pages about features or items that are no longer in the game, such as the old perk system. Shouldn't these pages be taked to show that the information on them is outdated or added a "legacy" tag to pages about things or systems that are no longer in the game?
