Description[edit | edit source]
An Air Filter Land Mine is a ground based explosive, similar to other Mines such as the Hub Cap Land Mine or Tin Land Mine. It can be strategically placed on any flat surface except water. If anything steps on it, whether it be a Zombie, a player, or an animal, the mine will explode. Exploding mines will not trigger other mines that are placed on adjacent tiles.

Notes[edit | edit source]
- The Air Filter Land Mine is currently the deadliest mine in the game.
- If a player jumps onto a mine they will not trigger the mine. The player can then safely walk off the mine/tile.
- A mine destroyed by an *explosion* only has a 33% chance to detonate
- The damage is for entities in the center of the explosion. Zombies take 2x this damage.
- Using the Perception skill The Infiltrator at tier 5 will allow them to be picked up.
- If The Infiltrator perk isn't available, simply destroy the block the mine is on, they will fall and disappear without detonating.

History[edit | edit source]
- As of A15, placed mines can no longer be picked up.
- The Infiltrator Perception perk at 5 addresses this.
