The Blunderbuss is a single shot firearm that can be crafted from simple materials in 7 Days to Die. It is a simple weapon and easy to create relatively early in the game. This weapon requires Blunderbuss Ammo and will hold one shot. With alpha 20, the Blunderbuss and its ammo have been removed, and replaced with a tier of pipe weapons.

During close combat, the Blunderbuss is extremely powerful and deals a high amount of damage to enemies, mainly the Zombie Dog, as it has 8 projectiles per shot, each dealing damage. It has a significant spread of the shot which allows the Weapon to hit multiple targets at once when used at a short range. The weapon is only useful at very close combat though and has almost no effect at medium range.

The condition of a Blunderbuss deteriorates with each use until it eventually will stop working and has to be repaired. This can be done using a Short Iron Pipe.
