Description[]

Boiled Meat is a Food item that can be cooked using a Cooking Pot on a Campfire with a suitable source of Combustible fuel. Eating Boiled Meat will have a positive effect on Fullness, Hydration, Stamina, and Health. It is not recommended to be used as a stable food source for players who do not have a good supply of Water, as Boiled Meat requires it to cook.

The recipe above contains the Resources needed to craft the Boiled Meat for each level of the Master Chef Perk.
A higher level in the associated perk will decrease the crafting cost, saving resources.

Meat Comparison[]

  • Boiled Meat provides hydration and fullness, whereas Grilled Meat only increases fullness and Charred Meat decreases hydration.
  • Boiled Meat requires a Cooking Pot and one Water to craft, plus the Boiled Meat providing only half the hydration of the Water.
  • Boiled Meat has a stronger healing effect than that of either Grilled or Charred Meat.
  • Overall, it's typically a matter of resources, and even then, Bacon and Eggs is typically the best food item to make with Raw Meat and limited ingredients.
