Description[edit | edit source]

Brass is a basic crafting resource which can be scavenged from various locations in 7 Days to Die or obtained via Scrapping brass-based items. Brass can be smelted in a Forge, and the resulting Brass can be used to cast Bullet Casings.

Crafting[edit | edit source]

Brass can be extracted from a Forge prior to moving the forge at no loss of materials.

Brass Sources[edit | edit source]

The table below show items that can be scrapped to craft Brass and the weight of each item.

  • It is possible to scrap Brass itself back into Brass but obviously this is pointless.
  • Scrap Brass can be also harvested from Brass Lights.
  • smelting Brass items in a forge:
    • Brass Trophy - 50 Brass - 14 Seconds
    • Brass Candlestick - 150 Brass - 40 Seconds
    • Brass Doorknob - 50 Brass - 14 Seconds
    • Radiator - 250 Brass - 67 seconds
    • Duke Coin - 1 Brass - 1 Second
  • Smelting Brass Candlesticks are the most fuel efficient, giving 3.75 Brass per second
    • Note. Do NOT buy brass items from the trader. You're better off smelting the duke coins into brass
