Description[]

Coal Ore refers to the underground and above ground resources of Coal. Coal Ore will remain as such within the Navesgane terrain until the player harvests it using a type of Pickaxe it will then be stored in the characters inventory as Coal.

Surface Nodes[]

Above ground it will appear as Surface Node protruding from the ground of most Biome surfaces. These Surface Nodes of Coal Ore will yield large amounts of Coal. The Surface Nodes serve as a marker for immediate amounts of that particular Ore. These Surface Nodes after having been harvested will randomly respawn somewhere in the Navezgane map.

Underground[]

Beneath the Surface Nodes the Coal Ore payload stretches deep in pockets below often surrounded by other types of Ores. Anytime the player decides to procure Ores underground they should be mindful of the hole they are digging and its Structural Integrity.

Other Sources[]

Coal is easily found in the Burnt Forest Biome. Trees in this zone give Coal along with the Wood. Further, the small wood piles found in the Burnt Forest zone give small amounts of coal and wood. Nodes of Coal appear like stone nodes, but without the white specks and smaller.
