Combustible is the name used for items that will burn as a fuel source for both a Camp Fire and a Forge. This will allow the player to melt scrap inside a Forge, in addition to cooking food on a Camp Fire. Some items are, of course, easier to get hold of than others and this should be considered before burning rarer items. All items have a relatively reasonable burn time based on the item itself. A Stick will burn for 4 seconds, this makes sense as a stick really isn't much, whereas a Wood Plank (Not Wood Planks!) will burn for 12 seconds. Furthermore, a Wood Log will burn for three minutes and 12 seconds, with Coal Ore offering six minutes and 40 second of burn time for each piece used.

- As mentioned, some items are easier to come by. While Coal Ore might burn for nearly 7 minutes, a couple of Wood Logs burn for basically the same time and they are much easier to get hold of.
- Using Wood Logs, Wood Plank and Sticks together can allow for quite precise control over the fuel used for the burn time required, considering the majority of the recipes have short burn time requirements it is easy for the player to maximize the potential of their resources and use as little fuel as possible. Wood Logs Craft into Wood Plank , which in turn can be crafted into Sticks, making these items very easy to obtain.
