“A compound bow does more damage and can use flaming arrows in addition to plain ones. Can be re-assembled and repaired if you read the Compound Bow book.”

Description

The Compound Bow is a ranged weapon similar to the Wooden Bow and Crossbow, but must be assembled from parts found through scavenging. A fully assembled Compound Bow can be found as well from scavenging.

When compared to the Wooden Bow, the Compound Bow has a higher base damage (acquired from the quality of its Compound Bow Parts), has less spread when firing, and zooms in further. Additionally, the Compound Bow has a sight, making it easier to land arrows when zoomed in. Finally, the Compound Bow can fire Flaming Arrows, which the Wooden Bow and Crossbow cannot use.

Crafting

After reading Compound Bow Schematic, the Compound Bow is assembled with the following parts:

Stats

As an assembled weapon, several of the Compound Bow's stats are derived from its individual parts. Unlike other assembled weapons, the Compound Bow only acquires its base damage from the Compound Bow Parts, the other parts do not provide any stats.
