Description[edit | edit source]
The Crawler Zombie is a type of Zombie. It is considerably slower than the average zombie as it does not walk or run and instead drags itself along the ground.
This may be used to player's advantages as it's speed is independent of the speed settings. On the other hand, it is also more difficult to detect, because it can attack you below while you're repelling one zombie horde, with the added benefit of being harder to spot in a darker light ambience.
Combat[edit | edit source]
The crawler zombie, while always slow, is still a threat not to be taken too lightly. Not only are they harder to reach, since they are almost flat on the ground, they also have a chance to injure (sprain or even break) the player's leg upon a successful attack. Their swinging animation might not be shown on time or be shown at all (as of Alpha 18), making dodging on time difficult. Therefore, the best way to fight them in close-combat is to crouch. That way the vertical distance is shortened and it is easier to stay outside of the crawler zombie's attack range, while still being able to strike back with a melee weapon of choice.
Loot[edit | edit source]
Loot List[edit source]
Loot List Table
When opening a loot bag dropped by Crawler Zombie you will get 1 - 3 items. Each item is one of the items in the list underneath, with chance indicating how probable it is to get a certain item. Note: It is possible to get multiple instances of the same item, if that item was chosen more than once.
- Container's Size: 6*3 = 18

Notes[edit | edit source]
- Crawlers can climb up one block, just like walking zombies can jump up one block.
- They have considerably less hitpoints than regular zombies, having only 80 instead of 125 or even 150. The feral counterpart has 152, though.
