Overview[ | ]

Desert Ground is one of the building blocks of the world. It can be found most commonly in Deserts. It shares its texture and resource characteristics with the Sand Block, but is structurally stronger allowing 1 block overhang (Sand does not).

Digging up Desert Ground gives 9 of both Clay Soil & Crushed Sand, which can be increased by investing in the Mother Lode perk.

Desert Ground can be repaired using up to 7 of both Clay Soil & Crushed Sand.

Uses[ | ]

Desert Ground provides a good source of Crushed Sand when the Cement Mixer is not yet available to craft it yourself.
The Desert Ground block cannot be crafted, but it can be replaced using a Top Soil block which will take the colour of Desert Ground but will yield only Clay Soil when dug up.
