Description[ | ]
Dirt is a basic block found in abundance around the map. Harvesting Dirt will yield Clay Soil. It is the top-most block of the ground in most biomes and has a depth of four blocks or more with the top layer containing a grass texture removed upon breakage. The appropriate tool for unearthing Dirt is a Shovel, but it may be mined by hand fairly quickly with high Stamina. You can also use a Pickaxe to Harvest Dirt, but the shovel works best.
Uses[ | ]
- It is used for Farming mainly.
- If you use a Garden Hoe and use the right click function on placed dirt or unharvested dirt it turns it into Fertile Dirt which lets crops grow.
- Often people Harvest dirt to plant their garden in a place of their choosing.
- Rooftop Gardens are a common thing to have in 7 Days to Die, as it makes it easy to Farm without having to worry about Zombies attacking you.
