Description[edit | edit source]

The negative Drowning Status Effect appears when players go under water for longer than 20 seconds (depending on your Athletics skill level up to 100 seconds; see table below).

As long as the debuff is active the player will lose 14 Health every 4 seconds. The debuff will stop immediately after contact with air and all oxygen will be replenished instantly, meaning it is instantly possible to go back under water without suffering from the Drowning debuff for another 20 seconds (or longer, as stated above).
