Encumbered is a Status Effect giving a negative buff that occurs when the player fills the normal 27 slots and places more items into the remaining slots that have the 
icon.
Items in the Toolbelt do not affect the Encumbered Status Effect.
Precautions[ | ]
Ways to negate this Status Effect immediately is to:
- Remove items from your inventory by dropping unneeded items.
- Scrapping different items into raw materials. For instance all brass items can be scrapped into Brass saving slot space.
- Perks like Pack Mule can be used to negate these effects.
- Use Clothing mods like Clothing Pocket Mod and Clothing Double Pocket Mod
- Use Armor Mods like Armor Pocket Mod, Armor Double Pocket Mod and Armor Triple Pocket Mod.
- Use Steroids which increase carrying capacity by 50, essentially unlocking all encumbered slots.
