The damage inflicted depends on PAGENAME, Durability (for melee weapons only) and Quality of the tool/weapon used and Stamina of the player. Quality scales damage linearly over the range of the particular weapon. For example, a normal arrow does from 18 to 30 damage, so a bow with 200 quality does 22 damage with normal arrows: (200/600)*(30-18)+18. For the purposes of guns, quality is the average of the overall quality and the quality of the key part, which depends on the gun (for example, the key part of the pistol is the barrel). So a pistol with overall quality of 181 and a barrel quality of 79, which average to 130, will have a damage of 13.05: (130/600)*(19-11.4)+11.4.

Overview[ | ]

The Entity Damage index of a tool or weapon determines how much damage is inflicted to an entity like a Zombie or another player. You can obtain this index using the Item Stats functionality added to the game in the alpha 7.6. To do this, place the mouse over an item to see the Object Stats, including its Entity Damage.
The damage inflicted depends on Entity Damage, Durability (for melee weapons only) and Quality of the tool/weapon used and Stamina of the player. Quality scales damage linearly over the range of the particular weapon.

Use[ | ]

Entity Damage is used to know how much damage a tool or weapon will inflict to an entity in 7 Days to Die.
