Experience is the mechanic that involves the progress of the player towards increasing Character Levels. When enough experience is earned, the player will level up and gain 1 spendable skill point. The maximum Character Level is 300. The player may still gain additional skill points through finishing Quests.

The experience required for each level is calculated using the following calculation: 9545 * (1.0149 ^ level).

Here is a list of actions that give the character experience:

  • Mining or Digging
  • Harvesting (Chopping Down) Trees
  • Harvesting (Disassembling) a block
  • Upgrading or Repairing a block
  • Killing Zombies or Animals
  • Opening an untouched (previously unopened) container
  • Trading with a Trader
  • Completing Quests
