Fertile Dirt is a basic block and potential building material found in abundance around the map that is used in Farming. It is the top-most block of the ground in most biomes and has a depth of four blocks with the top layer containing a grass texture removed upon breakage. The appropriate tool for unearthing Fertile Dirt is a Shovel but it may be mined by hand fairly quickly with high Stamina.
