Overview[ | ]

Forest Ground is one of the building blocks of the World. It can be found most commonly in Forests.

Digging up Forest Ground using a Shovel will yield 22 Clay Soil. This can be used to craft either Top Soil or Dirt blocks which are both renewable resources as they cost less Clay Soil to make than they produce when dug up. The gain can be increased by investing into the Mother Lode perk.

Forest Ground can be repaired using up to 14 Clay Soil, but cannot be melted in a Forge nor scrapped.

Uses[ | ]

Forest Ground provides an easy source of Clay Soil.
The Forest Ground block cannot be crafted, but it can be replaced using a Top Soil block which will take the colour of Forest Ground and yields the same resources when dug up (but has 50 fewer hit points).
