A Iron Door is a craft-able Door that has the ability to be locked by the player. it is one of the stronger doors in the game, because it is made of metal. You can also upgrade a Secure Wood Door to an Iron Door through the new upgrade process in A13. You can use an Upgrading tool and 10x Forged Iron to upgrade a Iron Door further along the upgrade path.

To be able to craft a Iron Door you will first need the following items.

Upgrading[ | ]
Can be upgraded to Steel Door1 v2 and Steel Door1 v3 with 10 Forged Iron and using an appropriate upgrading tool. A fully upgraded door Steel Door1 v3 will cost 30 Forged Iron.
Upgrade Process[ | ]
Once you have the required tool and upgrade materials you can begin the upgrade process. The Repair Tool is equipped and the materials are left in your bag or on your tool belt. Approach the Iron Door and right click on it while holding the Repair Tool and an icon will appear showing the current upgrade status. The upgrade materials used will not be taken from your inventory until the upgrade is complete.
