You get Raw Iron from mining Iron Ore. You get a approximately 19 Raw Iron while mining the Iron Ore block and a payout of 18 when you completely destroy the block. Iron Ore can only be found underground and can be mined by using a Pickaxe or a Stone Axe.

/steel pickaxe quality 400 gains 33 Iron Ore per hit/

Uses[ | ]

Raw Iron can be smelted in a Forge to make Iron (Forge), which is used in multiple crafting recipes. Once you have the correct books learned you can also reforge into Forged Iron and Forged Steel. Forged Steel is used to make Steel tools and upgrade your blocks to the highest level of material currently available.

Note[ | ]

  • Scrap Iron can also be looted, crafted by breaking down metal objects in the world, and is gathered by breaking down objects in the world like cars and air conditioners using a Wrench.
  • You can put both Raw Iron and/or Scrap Iron in the forge to smelt .
