Food/Cooking is an Item Group.

Food is an essential part of 7 Days to die. Consuming food will add to up your Fullness, whilst consuming a drink will add to your Hydration. Some consumables will add tot both. Fullness and Hydration will deplete over time. Physical activities such as mining will deplete Fullness faster and hotter biomes will increase the rate hydration depletes.
Consuming food and drink does not instantly fill up fullness/Hydration. The amount provided by the food and drink will display in the bottom left corner and is slowly added to the player. The consumed items stack, for example eating a Grilled Meat will add 10. A second one will add another 10 to the amount and so on.
