If one has a flashlight, they have the option to attach it, though it isn't recommended due to the fact that sniper rifles aren't meant for close quarters, and the flashlight has a much shorter range. |

− | A PAGENAME can be Assembled by clicking on any gun part and clicking Assemble. This will break the weapon down into its component state, and display the parts in the main crafting screen. The player can then remove the parts and place them into their bag or tool belt. |

− | Players who have read the appropriate Recipe Book can also use this method to upgrade gun parts in the weapon to a higher quality. To do so, remove the desired gun part from the Assemble screen, and replace it with a similar gun part of higher quality. Note that this action must be done in a specific order. You cannot first drag the NEW gun part onto the Assemble screen and "swap" it with the OLD one. You must first drag the OLD gun part off of the Assemble Screen and replace or swap it with the NEW one. |

Overview[ | ]
The Marksman Rifle is a ranged weapon in 7 Days to Die. It can be looted from Supply Crates, Shotgun Messiah Crates, Munitions Boxes, and Feral Zombies or it can also be crafted. The Marksman Rifle uses 7.62mm Bullets as Ammunition and can hold 5 rounds. A Marksman Rifle will reload automatically or it can be done manually by pressing the reload key (default key 'R').
Combat[ | ]
The Marksman Rifle is an extremely powerful long range Weapon that will kill almost all Zombies with a single shot to the head. It is also powerful at close range, although it only contains five cartridges per magazine, meaning it will require frequent reloading. It is a viable option for long range engagements with enemies, especially in more populated areas.

Workbench |
The recipe above contains the Resources/Magazines needed for each Quality level of the Marksman Rifle.
A higher Quality item may provide better stats at the cost of increased material and unlock requirements.
Repair[ | ]
The condition of a Marksman Rifle deteriorates with each use until eventually it will stop working and will need to be repaired. This can be done using a Repair Kit.

Notes[ | ]
- A Marksman Rifle, like all weapons, can destroy blocks and structures, and is most effective from a distance where enemies won't be easily attracted.
- With the recent updates, the model has been changed to a much more detailed model, now based on the Remington R11 RSASS (Remington Semi Automatic Sniper System), a much more realistic weapon considering the game setting. Functionally it has remained more or less identical, however, despite the R11 RSASS having 15 more bullets per magazine and a faster rate of fire than the in-game model.
