Overview[ | ]
Mechanical Parts is a craftable multi-purpose part that can be used for crafting various items and can only be crafted if you've unlocked level 3 of the Steel Smithing (Skill) perk. Mechanical Parts requires a Workbench, a source of Forged Steel and Duct Tape before you can craft them. Once you have acquired these items, Mechanical Parts are easy to craft, but an expensive resource in prolonged production.
Mechanical Parts can be found by left-clicking with a Wrench on Air Conditioners, Gas Stations, Office Chairs, File Cabinets, Reinforced Drawbridges, Shopping Carts, Gas Pumps, Ovens, Sedans, Safes, Garage Door Metals, and Toilets.
They can be looted rather commonly on Skater Punk Zombies. If you don't have a wrench and need mechanical parts, try looking for them.
Unlocking[ | ]
To be able to craft Mechanical Parts, level 3 of the Steel Smithing (Skill) perk needs to be unlocked from the Skills Menu.
