The Pump Shotgun is a pump-action firearm that can be found/looted or crafted in 7 Days to Die. The Shotgun can use either Shotgun Shells or Shotgun Slugs as Ammunition. It will reload automatically or manually using the reload key (default key 'R').
Combat[ | ]
In close combat situations, the Pump Shotgun is tremendously powerful and deals a high amount of damage to enemies. It has a slight spread of the shot which allows the Weapon to hit multiple targets at once; a shotgun choke may be attached to tighten the buckshot spread, reducing spray but concentrating the damage per shell. Alternatively, a sawed-off shotgun barrel may be used instead to achieve the opposite effect, increasing spray to hit more targets; the duck bill attachment changes the spread to a more horizontal pattern. The damage is calculated if all the 8 pellets hit.
