Description[]
Removed in Alpha 20, use the extremely customizable Concrete Shapes to place concrete blocks instead.
Rebar Frames is a craftable Building Material. It is very weak and has similar strength to Building Blocks and is fairly expensive considering the resources needed to craft it. This is countered however by how common Rebar Frames can be found in dropped supply crates. It can be upgraded into Reinforced Concrete Blocks. To do so, 20 Concrete Mix are needed for every Rebar Frames.
It is upgraded, with a tool, initially to a Concrete Form mold using Wood. Then Concrete Mix is used to upgrade the Concrete Form to Poured Concrete. After some time the initially wet concrete dries, the wooden mold pops out and Reinforced Concrete Blocks are obtained. Reinforced Concrete is also stronger than its wet form.
Rebar Frames can be melted in a Forge as a source of iron and scrapped in the crafting grid to produce Iron.
Block Varieties
The Rebar Frames comes in a number of different varieties, each with the same durability and features. The only difference is the shape and hit boxes, which may allow you to shoot through them or walk up them. There are rare cases, when a variety has different properties, see Notes below for specific information.
