Rotting Flesh is an item found almost all the time on the corpse of a Zombie Dog and various other times on the Corpses of recently killed Zombies.

As of Alpha 10, it appears in the Cooking branch.

Consumption[ | ]

Consuming Rotting Flesh is always a bad idea, unless you absolutely must. It is generally perceived to be a terrible food source, as it has a large chance to give the player the Food Poisoning buff. The only edible food you can make is Canned Sham. In A17, when you can also make Hobo Stew and Fort Bites using Rotting Flesh.

As of A17 Rotting Flesh is used in the recipe of Hobo Stew and Fort Bites.
