A Shotgun Receiver is a type of gun part in 7 Days to Die. It is used to craft a Shotgun or a Sawed-off Shotgun. A Shotgun Receiver can be smelted in the forge or scrapped for Scrap Iron.

How To Obtain[ | ]
- Looted from certain containers.
- Dismantle a Shotgun or a Sawed-off Shotgun using the Assemble feature.
- Spawning it in directly via the Creative Menu
Forge[ | ]
Smelting[ | ]
A Shotgun Receiver can be placed into the forge to be melted down into iron. Each Shotgun Receiver will produce 10 units of Iron.
Assemble[ | ]
A Shotgun or Sawed-off Shotgun can be Assembled by clicking on an of the gun parts for the weapon and clicking Assemble, from there other pieces can be added to the partial weapon to make a full weapon or just add pieces as they are acquired. The gun will stay in an assembled state even if it is incomplete, but will not be useable. This saves inventory space and helps to stay organized as well.
Scrapping[ | ]
A Shotgun Receiver can be scrapped by highlighting Shotgun Receiver and selecting 'Scrap".
