In the Console Version, Perks are used by the player to increase their effectiveness with many different Game Mechanics (although not all of them). Unlike the PC version, the Console Version allows for Perk increases without having to pay into certain Perks. Simply using a Tool, Weapon, building structures, crafting, butchering, and running after continual use or performing those actions will increase some Perks.
