The Sniper Rifle is a ranged weapon in 7 Days to Die. It can be looted from Supply Crates, Shotgun Messiah Crates and Munitions Boxes or it can also be crafted. The Sniper Rifle uses 7.62mm Bullets as Ammunition and can hold 13 rounds. A Sniper Rifle will reload automatically or it can be done manually by pressing the reload key (default key 'R').
Combat[ | ]
The Sniper Rifle is an extremely powerful long range Weapon that will kill almost all Zombies with a single shot to the head. It is also powerful at close range, containing thirteen cartridges, meaning it will require less frequent reloading compared to the Marksman Rifle. It is a viable option for long range engagements with enemies, especially in more populated areas.

Repair[ | ]
The condition of a Sniper Rifle deteriorates with each use until eventually it will stop working and will need to be repaired. This can be done using a Repair Kit.
Scrapping[ | ]
A Sniper Rifle can be scrapped by clicking on the Sniper Rifle and selecting "Scrap".

- A Sniper Rifle, like all weapons, can destroy blocks and structures, and is most effective from a distance where enemies won't be easily attracted.
- The Sniper Rifle used to look like that of the Marksman Rifle, but with recent updates they have been turned into two different weapons.
