Description[edit | edit source]
Eating too many Snowberries or Snowberry Juice will give the status effect Snowberry Poisoning, which damages Health by 1 point every 20 seconds, and Wellness by 0.1 every 20 seconds. It drops off shortly after 40 minutes in game. There is no countdown timer, unlike standard Food Poisoning. This effect stacks in duration.
Mechanics[edit | edit source]
There are two hidden mechanics upon eating Snowberry Poisoning or any snowberry product. Eating a snowberry, drinking its juice, or consuming its extract will add 144, 720, and 1640 "snowberry count" to metabolize, respectively. Snowberry count is metabolized at a rate of -10 count every 10 seconds. If snowberry count exceeds 1040, the player will then receive Snowberry Poisoning, and will lose it once snowberry count goes below 1040. Additionally, if any Snowberry Poisoning are being metabolized, the player will dehydrate twice as fast (more specifically, losing an additional 1% water every 45 seconds).
