The Snowy Forest is a new biome introduced in Alpha 6. It brings with it 3 new zombie types: Frigid Hunter, Frozen Lumberjack and Frostbitten Worker. Also, there is an army camp. It is surrounded by mines and contains lots of lootable containers.
The Snowy Forest can be a dangerous biome to be in as the mist can cause the player's vision to decrease, allowing the threat of zombie attack, or possibly even close spawn, to come without warning! Unprepared players should only venture in if necessary for scavenging items in the daytime and would do well to be out prior to 19:00.
