Splinted Leg is a negative (but improved) Status Effect that occurs after treating a Broken Leg with a Splint.

Effects[ | ]

Having a Splinted Leg will lower Mobility by 15% and decrease Jump Strength by 4%. While having a Splinted Leg, any fall distance is treated as +2 meters higher, which means increased fall damage from shorter falls and the possibility of reinjuring the leg, resulting in a Sprained Leg or worse, resulting in a Broken Leg.

Sprinting or Jumping will increase the time it needs to heal.

Mitigating[ | ]

Steroids can be used to negate the effects of a broken limb temporarily allowing the player to move normally. Steroids also stop the healing timer from counting up when performing strenuous actions like sprinting and jumping. Instead of counting up the timer will simply stop while the action is being performed.
