Talk: Clay Soil

In Alpha 12 you got clay by digging in brown dirt. In Alpha 13, digging in the same brown dirt only renders Lumps of Clay which used to come from crafting Clay into Lumps of Clay. Now I can't seem to find anyway to get normal Clay. This is a problem as many things in the forge require Clay, rather than only Lumps of Clay. How do you get just normal Clay in Alpha 13?
