Description[ | ]

A Tungsten Ingot is the result of casting tungsten in a Forge using a Tungsten Ingot Mold. There are a handful of items that provide a source of tungsten and they can be melted directly in a Forge. Any combination of Tungsten Ore and Tungsten Trophies can be used to cast a Tungsten Ingot provided enough tungsten is produced. Each Tungsten Ingot weighs 3.0 lb and will require the same amount to be used during casting. A Tungsten Ingot can also be used to craft other items. It is not currently possible to scrap any items for Scrap Tungsten, the only source is a rare drop when destroying either of the tungsten Doors.

Forge[ | ]

Preparation[ | ]

A Tungsten Ingot is cast in a Forge it will need to be prepared before being used and you will require these items.

IngotMoldTungsten
1x Tungsten Ingot Mold
Place this into the Mold slot of the Forge.
Stick
6x Stick
These will burn for 24 seconds, but any fuel source that will burn for 24 seconds or more will be suitable

Required Metal[ | ]

To cast a Tungsten Ingot you will require the following metal.

ScrapTungsten
3x Scrap Tungsten
These will provide 3.0 lb of tungsten, but any source that will provide 3.0 lb of tungsten or more will be suitable. Place this into the Metal slot of the Forge.

Casting[ | ]

Place the source of tungsten into the metal slot of the Forge and add your fuel source to one of the three Fuel slots, this will begin the casting process. A minimum of 3.0 lb of Tungsten is required and will produce one Tungsten Ingot.

Source[ | ]

This table represents the items currently available to use as a source of tungsten.

  • Any of these items can be placed into a Forge and used to cast a Tungsten Ingot.

Notes[ | ]

  • As of Alpha 8.2 it is possible to cast a Tungsten Ingot using a Tungsten Ingot as the original source of tungsten, obviously this is pointless as in doing so you would waste both fuel and time to end up with the same thing as you started with.
