Overview[ | ]

The Tungsten Trophy is a source of tungsten. Although not too common, it can be found in many different locations. While the Tungsten Trophy can not be scrapped directly it can be melted by placing it into a Forge. Upon placing a Tungsten Trophy into a Forge it will be melted and can be used with a Tungsten Ingot Mold to cast Tungsten Ingots. With a weight of only 0.4 lbs you need eight trophies to cast a Tungsten Ingot.

As of the Alpha 10 update, the changelog indicates that Tungsten Trophys are now included in loot.

And as of Alpha 11 tungsten was removed completely, until it can be better implemented.

Trivia[ | ]

  • Realistically, a regular fire would not be nearly hot enough to actually melt it, as tungsten's melting point is 6,191oF or 3,422oC, and even the hottest fire, a pale white color, rather unlike the kind found in-game, only ranges from about 2400 to 2700oF or 1300-1500oC
  • An item icon somewhat resembling the Tungsten Trophy still exists in the game files, even updated to be more in the vein of the later icons of the Brass and Lead Trophies.
