Characters become Wet when they enter water or are exposed to rain or snowfall. Being within 2 blocks of an area that is open to the sky will allow rain and snow to cause the Wet condition.

The Wet status is both a negative and a positive Status Effect, as it both decreases Cold Resist and increases Heat Resist by 20% of the Wetness level of the character.

Once a character is no longer in the water or out of any active raining or snowing, the Wet status will slowly improve. This process can be sped up by holding a torch or standing next to specific heat sources that provide the Warming Fire status.
