Description[ | ]
Players become Wet when they are in water or are exposed to rain or snowfall. If the player is in a dwelling which has holes in the ceiling, they will get Wet when within two blocks of an opening. The same also applies if the opening is obscured by a hatch.
Effects[ | ]
Effect[ | ]
The Wet status effect causes a falling core temperature. This helps against these negative effects:
The declining core temperature could increase these negative effects
Heal[ | ]
Using a dwelling or wearing clothing and having a core temperature of 40 or above cures the effect. The speed of curing Wet increases as core temperature rises.
Display[ | ]
All active Status Effects are displayed at the lower left edge of the screen above the status displays. The Wet status icon is displayed on the user interface or in the menu.
Customization[ | ]
The Status Effects Wet can be customized by administrators in buffs.xml.
