Overview[ | ]
- The Wood Log Spike is a trap used to defend structures by impaling the zombies.
- They are crafted using four Wood Log blocks arranged as shown in the crafting section.
Notes[ | ]
- Even though it is a 2 block high item, it is possible for players and zombies to jump onto it while standing next to it. This also means that zombies count as though they are standing one block higher while being hurt by these traps, so it is always best to build more than one block next to them unless you want zombies to jump from the trunk tip onto your wall.
- They make fine traps compared to the Wood Spikes due to the fact they don't break. However, they do considerably less damage, and require a 2-block deep hole to place them in.
- It should also be noted that because standing on these does damage periodically, it also causes flinching. While zombies are flinching, they attack much less frequently. As such, the most useful component of the trunk tip, is that severely impairs a horde's ability to destroy blocks between them and the player.
