==Description== The PAGENAME is an additional crafting queue for the player and will require crafting one to benefit from the additional recipes it provides. Using ingredients held in the players Inventory, the workbench can craft items that the player cannot normally craft from their backpack as well as items that are only available on the PAGENAME. This can enable a player to craft different items simultaneously, items crafted from the workbench as well as from their backpack. Different items require different time to complete. Players can craft and walk away as the PAGENAME completes the task independently. <br> Also Destroyed Workbench cannot be crafted from or repaired to be utilized and are good for only scrapping with a Wrench or being left alone to gather resources from its storage when the area resets (assuming chunk reset is turned on). ==Crafting== ===Required Items=== ==Usage== Once placed, the workbench is ready to use. There is no fuel source other than the ingredients necessary to craft a particular item. To craft an item, a player must have all ingredients in their Inventory. Once the item to be crafted is selected in the workbench menu and "craft" is selected, the ingredients move from inventory to the workbench queue. Once the item is crafted, it is available in the workbench output slots. The time needed to complete each item varies and some may take a very long time but can be left to complete large batches without the need of the player being there. Items not requiring the PAGENAME can be crafted there instead of your inventory freeing up your inventory for more important items needing to be crafted. PAGENAMEes are not linked and items crafted and left to complete will remain in that particular PAGENAME until the player returns to collect it. The workbench is a requirement to build most advanced components. ===Multiplayer Usage=== It should be known that you cannot protect their items completed or in process inside the Workbench from players in online multiplayer. Other players can cancel recipes and keep your ingredients or take and keep completed items that vary from the least quality items you produce, to the higher value items like a Gyrocopter or valuable weapons or armor. The PAGENAME has no locks and is open to all players. It is recommended to place your workbench and other crafting devices into a room with a locked door and to protect it with a Robotic Turret. Keybinds Objects ==Heat Map== The workbench has the following heat map characteristics: {| class="wikitable" |- | HeatMapStrength || 0.5% |- |HeatMapTime || 1200s |- | HeatMap Frequency || 25 |} To put it in perspective; the Workbench produces 33% as much heat as a Forge or Campfire. To compare heat map values, see the table Actions Affecting The Heatmap on the page Heatmap. ==Notes== * Workbenches that you craft can be picked up and moved as of Alpha 16.4 (b8) on PC. * Destroyed workbenches can't be repaired, only looted and harvested. * Introduced in version A14.0 * As of A16.2, combining will allow you to upgrade your item to 100 points above what you are able to make. It is most profitable to craft low level items and add them one at a time to your "upgrading" item. At current max level, instead of upgrading, durability will be restored instead. The levels added seems to be roughly 1/10 of the item's level. ==References== <references/> de:Werkbank
